Introduction
Binary Blue is a fully WP 2.5 compliant, heavily AJAX enhanced WordPress theme. Its ZIP package contains more than a dozen different schemes, among them the fabulous True Blue style, which is an improved port of the style with the same name originally created by Steve Lam and included with his explicit permission.
Binary Blue contains a fully degradable AJAX enhanced Paged Comments function, which is sort of world exclusive at the current point of time, as there’s no other WordPress plugin or theme yet, which would support such a feature.
Each of the AJAX enhanced features degrade automatically and gracefully if a visitor with a non-javascript browser visits the blog; the functionality then defaults automatically to the default behaviour of any common theme.
Binary Blue is not only a “simple” theme but a complete theme suite resp. sort of a theme platform, which enables you as the user to configure lots of options, so you can customize the complete theme without the need to change a single line of HTML or even PHP code.

This release is a pure bugfix release which fixes the incompiances which have been introduced by the idiots of the WP TEAM (they just did not think about all the themes and plugins which made use of parts of the DB structure) when they introduced WordPress 2.3. Concerning Binary Blue, this affects the archives page and the asides configuration only. So if you don’t use either feature, you may stills tick to the 1.4.1 release, but for everybody else the bugfix release is strongly recommanded. I won’t answer any help requests any longer which concern these issues.

Nach ewigem suchen füge ich die flv-Dateien jetzt manuell ein:
Geht im IE, ist XHTML konform usw. Nicht das beste, aber besser als nix
Bei Problemen einfach mal über die Website melden.

ich probier es in den nächsten tagen aus und gebe hier dann bescheid, wie es mit der kompatibilität steht. außerdem habe ich mir fest vorgenommen, dann endlich BB 2.0 fertigzustellen und freizugeben.

habe nun das Simple Trackback Validation deaktiviert und nun scheint wieder alles zu laufen

hi, es kann schlichtweg nicht an BB liegen, da ich in keinster Weise in die Trackbacks eingreife. Insofern habe ich auch keine Idee, woran es denn liegen könnte. Einzige Vermutung die sich da aufdrängt ist ein nicht ganz kompatibles Plugin, welches durch BB vllt. endgültig aus dem Tritt gerät.

Ich habe allerdings ein kleines Problem: Interne Trackbacks funktionieren nicht mehr. Woran könnte das liegen (mit einem anderen Thema gehen sie). Gibts dazu einen Bugfix?

Habe auf meinem Laptop noch den IE 5.5. Mit dem lässt sich die Seite hier leider nicht aufrufen. Der IE beendet mit “Vorgang abgebrochen”. Natürlich ist mir der Firefox lieber aber ich haben den eben nicht überall installiert. Jedenfalls - danke für das wunderbare Theme!

ja, nur mit dem wichtigen hintergrund, dass die default.css nirgends verwendet wird. sie dient lediglich als basis mit allen wesentlichen CSS-regeln, um sich ein komplett eigenes scheme aufzubauen.
es hängt vom von dir eingesetzten scheme ab, in welcher datei du die image-margins anpassen musst.
wie du hier auf 4null4.de siehst, funktioniert das auch prima, wenn man es an der richtigen stelle einsetzt

In der Datei default.css habe ich das Folgende gefunden:

Ich kämpfe gerade mit einem Problem bzgl. Binary Blue Version 1.4 und dem Flash Video Player (Version 2.0) von Joshua Eldrige. Selbiges Problem aber auch mit anderen FLV Playern. Wenn ich diese in Posts embedde, dann schmeisst der IE7 die schöne Meldung “Internet Explorer can not open the Internet Site URL. Operation aborted.” in einem POP up und bricht dann ab, die Seite zu laden. Habe bereits zur neusten Binary Blue Version geupdated und alle anderen PlugIns deaktiviert. Bei anderen Themes geht es ohne Probleme (aber die sind keine Alternative, da nicht so schön!). Firefox läd die Seite auch ohne Probleme. Hast Du schon mal von so Problemen gehört? Durch das Einspielen des der neuen Themeversion sollten auch alle Änderungen überschrieben sein. Ich bin ratlos…
