Die deutschen Webseiten des Automobilkonzerns BMW sind wieder bei Google zu finden, wie heise online berichtet. Ein schneller Gegencheck durch eine Google-Suche nach “bmw.de” ergab, dass dies zutreffend ist.
Bleibt die Frage, ob die Bayern nun auf Dauer auf ihre Doorwaypages verzichten werden - man sollte sie auf jeden Fall im Auge behalten.
Last week the news spread across the net, that Google would start an anti-spam campaign against foreign (say: non-US) websites in their index - threatening webmasters of being expunged from the index if they have used non-Google-authorized methods to enhance their result ranking. These proscribed methods, commonly abbreviated as black resp. dark SEO (search Engine Optimization), include techniques like doorway pages, cloaking and other stuff. So much for the background of the following story.

Since I started blogging about a year ago (at the time being), I’ve gathered a whole bunch of experience with the different plugins for WordPress that are available throughout the net, and I even have written a couple of them myself. Some plugins are updated regularly, some aren’t, but all of them that I am still using have something in common - they work with both WordPress 2.0 and 2.1 and with Binary Blue without any problems

Im Blogspam Blog bin ich auf eine interessante Herangehensweise gestoßen, wie den Spammern, die solchen Schwachsinn wie Referrer-Spam zur Bewerbung von
Phentermine/Phentermin verzapfen, dank Googles Blog-Manie endlich einmal wirkungsvoll beizukommen ist.

Erstaunlich, wie schnell sich Gerüchte in der Blogosphäre verbreiten, ohne dass mal jemand nach dem Sinn fragt. Da brechen einige wenige Blogs unter der Last des Google-Traffic zusammen, und schon fangen Gott und die Welt an ihren Blogs herumzuschrauben - wie anno dunnemal Manni an seinem Manta….
